WHAT CAN YOU SAY...
Addition note added after the video was made.
Where do we go from here! It seems that all is not lost however. There now needs to be negotiation about how we go about the cliff stabilisation and how we keep the fauna although self seeding would occure very quickly.
The race is between "doing it or losing it" so a common sense approach must be adopted.
We could all end up with nothing and everyone then loses in the end...
Food for thought me thinks!

It is not going to be as straightforward as it first seems - we all felt getting the money for the project was the main obstacle however that's only a part of the overall scheme of things. Natural England are trying to preserve this area and if we can find common ground we will get permission for work to proceed.
ReplyDeleteHow we go about this I have no idea but I know others are out there putting together a plan so it could still go ahead but "when" is the issue.
They Natural England appear to be faceless?----Is there no appeal especially as it would appear that none of the body of people linked to Natural England would suffer if there is further erosion?.
ReplyDeleteMany years ago the Dutch as you know were invited to drain some of England's Fenland. If Holland was controlled by a body similar to Natural England there would be nothing of the country left!
