Just for the record (as its been mentioned elsewhere) - this repair has NOT cost residents anything.
ReplyDeleteOne of your committee members spent a lot of time making sure the damage sustained by the water companies contractors vehicles was put right. A cheque was issued by the water company to cover the costs of this road repair which would never have been done without the efforts of a committee member.
The road repair included digging out the hole and inserting a substantial hardcore base before finishing off with stones...
A committee can work - costs you nothing - but can help us all a lot...
